its likely yes, paint has fumes and breathing them in isnt good for the lungs. when i was younger breathing in paint fumes would give me tonsilitis. its different for everyone but not worth risking. try and avoid it if you can or if you are painting in or around his room, keep him at bay until it is properly dry. i probably just overreact and worry about silly things with my daughter so id personally keep her away but its up to you whats best for your baby.
