Paint,stain and varnish remover?

I am in the process of redoing an older china cabinet, what would be the easiest method of removing stain, paint or varnish from the cabinet?Paint, stain and varnish remover?
A paste stripper, like Jasco. It's an acidic paste that, when applied with an old or inexpensive paintbrush, causes the old finish to blister and peel off. You then use a plastic scraper to scrape away the old finish. You would need at least two: a large one for large flat areas and a relatively small one to get into corners and crevices. When you're done, you then wipe it down with a wet cloth to remove the stripper residue and let it dry. You can then sand it by hand to get the parts smooth.

Watch out when using that stuff, though. Wear long rubber gauntlet gloves that are made for handling corrosive materials, long sleeves and pant legs, and eye protection. Even if the tiniest drop of that stuff gets on your skin, it immediately burns like a wasp sting until you wipe it off with a clean, wet cloth (keep one handy - believe me on this).

You're also better off removing as many parts of the cabinet as you can and doing those separately (doors, removable legs or panels, etc.). And, definitely remove the glass panels first, if you can.

I would also recommend doing a manageable area at a time, as opposed to doing the whole thing at once. If you wait too long to remove the stripper, it could dry and you have to reapply it.

Also, note that this stuff is a mess, especially the stuff you scrape off. Have a container handy for putting the old finish paste in. And, remember that it has to be corrosive-resistant. Laying down a large tarp would be a good idea, too.
