What brush you use to Apply varnish to acrylic painting on canvas?

what brush do you use to apply varnish to acrylic paint? every brush i used get damaged and not spreading the varnish? can i mix varnish with water to dilute and make it running faster on canvas? if no what other alternativesWhat brush you use to Apply varnish to acrylic painting on canvas?
It is not necessary to ';varnish'; an Acrylic painting.

You can Lacquer with an Acrylic spray, these are available in a can.

To thin Varnish use either turps or white spirit.

Clean your brushes in water for Acrylics. And white spirit for oils and varnish.

use a wide medium soft brush if you are applying Varnish over a painting or applying ';washes'; of colour.

Go to an evening class or school for art and get advise on techniques,and/or, read a few book's too

Happy new year and enjoy your work..What brush you use to Apply varnish to acrylic painting on canvas?

This makes absolutely no sense. Unless you're using a nylon brush in an oil-based varnish caustic enough to melt nylon(which you surely wouldn't use on an acrylic painting), I don't understand why there would be a problem brushing or spreading varnish. Most varnishes are brushed on. It's not supposed to be diluted, either.

Perhaps you should go to the art-supply store and buy the spray-on varnish for acrylic paintings. That way you'll avoid the whole brush dilemma.
Why are you using varnish on acrylic paint anyway???

Acrylics are basically plastic when dry. If anything, use a clear ACRYLIC coat over your finished painting if your looking for a shine.
u must use flat brush to apply varnish.

if u wanna dilute varnish use thinner or bit of kerosine as water wont work.

dont forget to dip and wash ur brushes with kerosine and later dip in warm water that wll make ur brushes soft %26amp; smooth.
