Is it best to Paint or Varnish some outdoor wooden steps?
They are damp at the moment.Varnish or Paint....?
Varnish is not very UV resistant and will fail in short order. Paint. Use a porch and floor paint and it will hold up much better.Varnish or Paint....?
mix 1 part bleach with 2 parts water, spray on with garden type sprayer, pressure wash off, SEAL with Thompsons water sealer and enjoy the wood. Don't paint it
Allow to dry then wood stain them and varnish with non-slip varnish, paint isn't hard wearing enough for steps.
